Book cover with debossed title card
In post-Roe v. Wade America, reproductive autonomy and womens’ healthcare have been threatened across the country. With access to modern medicine becoming increasingly restricted, it is imperative to re-invigorate historic methods of reproductive medicine that were once ubiquitous knowledge.
This book covers a variety of plants from American history that are native to this country. Information includes growing instructions, historically abortion-related uses, as well as real recipes for the different plants. The covert wording of the title is reminiscent of the coded language used in Victorian times to hide information in plain sight.
